There are number of interesting Museums to visit when in Brisbane, Australia. One of the better museums is the Queensland Museum. The Queensland Museum is a state ran museum that was founded by the Queensland Philosophical Society in 1862. The government built the a home for the museum in William Street with the museum moving there in 1879. In 1986 the museum moved to its current location.
The Queensland Museum has a number of interesting exhibits on display. One that is very popular is the national carriage collection. This display is a historical representation of the horse drawn carriage in Australia. There is also an amazing science exhibit, the Megawatt exhibit, that will answer many questions about electricity. Some of the questions the exhibit asks are how is electricity made? Is it something you can run out of? Do animals use electricity?
