World-Famous Museums

Museums are the houses of history; humanity’s greatest works of beauty rest within their walls. For centuries, museums have drawn tourists from around the globe.

The world’s most popular museum is the Musee du Louvre in Paris, France. Leonardo da Vinci’s famous masterpiece, the Mona Lisa, takes residency at the Louvre, where hundreds of viewers gather each day just to visit her.
